NYLaughs Presents: NYC’s First Silent Stand-Up Comedy Festival. Get ready to experience comedy like never before at NYC’s first Silent Stand-Up Comedy Showcase! Spend a day laughing your way through our unique lineup featuring a family hour, music improv, a stand-up showcase, and our hilarious festival headliners, Dulcé Sloan and Devon Walker. All set against the stunning backdrop of Pier 57, you’ll enjoy jaw-dropping NYC views while getting your giggles on. Due to rooftop sound restrictions, the show goes silent with free headphones available (just bring a credit card or government ID to borrow). NYLaughs is excited to present it’s first free comedy festival designed to provide New Yorkers with a laughter intervention! Additionally, NYLaughs joins Pier57 to present a day of stand-up comedy events to celebrate, collaborate, and give back! All shows are free!

Jordan Carlos Family Show Host - 11:30A-1:00P

Jordan Carlos is a stand up comedian, writer and actor, who co-starred and wrote on the first season of “Everything’s Trash” (Freeform). He has also written for “Divorce” (HBO), written/performed for “The Nightly Show With Larry Wilmore” (Comedy Central), and “First Wives Club” (BET). He also appeared on Black Mirror (Netflix), and the “Home Alone” reboot on Disney Plus.

Jon Fisch Family Show - 11:30A-1:00P

Jon Fisch is not just a comedian, but a comedic force to be reckoned with. With his razor-sharp wit and impeccable timing, he has conquered stages across the country. Fisch’s comedic accomplishments are highlighted on prestigious platforms such as “The Late Show with David Letterman” and “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” earning him widespread recognition and applause. Gerald Kelly and his son Lil’ Hunter, age 10, are comedians from Season 16 of America’s Got Talent.

Chris Sullivan aka “Shockwave” Music Improv - 2:00P-3:00P

Chris “Shockwave” Sullivan, a regular cast member on the American children’s public television show “The Electric Company” as Shock and best known for his beatboxing for the Broadway show “Freestyle Love Supreme,” is now half of the performing duo “Dick Patrol,” which is a fully improvised hybrid of storytelling, hip-hop, beatboxing, rapping, and improv.

Victor Varnado Music Improv - 2:00P-3:00P

Victor Varnado, an accomplished American stand-up comedian and actor who was the winner of the Most Valuable Performer award at the Montreal Just For Laughs Improv Championship and bronze medalist in the Comedy Central Laugh Riots National Stand-Up Competition is also half of the performing duo “Dick Patrol,” which is a fully improvised, hybrid of storytelling, hip-hop, beatboxing, rapping and improv.

Simeon Goodson Host Standup Showcase - 3:30P-5:00P

Simeon “Sim” Goodson is a New Yorker born and raised from Brooklyn, NY.  Beginning his career in New York City in 2004, he has since relocated numerous times around the world, performing and producing in a variety of countries and venues. These include Caroline’s on Broadway in Times Square, The Burj Khalifa in Dubai, and the Brooklyn Academy of Music. In addition, he has performed across the United States with the “Comedy’s Best Kept Secret Tour” and as the opening act on the Hannibal Burress “Comedy Camisado Tour”. In August 2015, Simeon moved with his family to the United Arab Emirates. Diving head first into the local comedy scene, he was the winner of the Dubai Comedy Festival’s Beat the Gong contest that year and in 2017 filmed for Comedy Central Arabia’s Stand Up al Wagif Seasons 2 & 3. In 2018, Simeon moved to Wuxi, China where he continued to perform on an international level, visiting numerous Chinese cities including Shanghai, Beijing, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Shenzhen, Xiamen and Wuhan. Returning to New York City in 2021, Simeon was featured on That Damn Michael Che Season 2 (HBO Max) and is currently a regular host and performer at The Comedy Cellar.



Gina Brillon Standup Showcase - 3:30P-5:00P

Gina Brillon is a stand up comedian, actress, and writer, born and raised in the Bronx. Brillon gained popularity when she became a finalist on America’s Got Talent and has made appearances on Comedy Central, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and Late Night with Seth Meyers. She became the first Latina winner of NBC’s Stand up for Diversity Showcase. In 2021 her stand up special: “Floor is Lava” won a widely respected Gracie Award.

Matt Goldich Standup Showcase - 3:30P-5:00P

Matt Goldich is a stand-up comedian who has appeared on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Comedy Central’s @midnight, and Comedy Central’s Premium Blend. He is currently a staff writer for Late Night with Seth Meyers. He has also written for the Jeselnik Offensive, the Emmy Awards, Ellen, and the Late Show with David Letterman. He’s been a consultant for the MTV Movie Awards. He performs stand-up regularly in New York and Los Angeles and has also performed at clubs and colleges around the country. He has also appeared at the US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado and the Bridgetown Comedy Festival in Portland, Oregon. He has won two Daytime Emmy Awards.

Vanessa Hollingshead Standup Showcase - 3:30P-5:00P

Vanessa Hollingshead appeared in the ground-breaking Showtime Special, “Funny Women of a Certain Age,” hosted by Fran Drescher. FUNNY WOMEN OF A CERTAIN AGE became the network’s highest-rated premiere of a stand-up special in 2019. It is currently streaming on Showtime. Within six months Showtime did a second special of FUNNY WOMEN OF A CERTAIN AGE. She is also considered one of 2019 top 10 innovators that changed comedy: Vanessa also did an episode on Marc Maron’s WTF Podcast. She also is a regular on John Fugelsang’s “Tell Me Everything” on Sirius. She taped her fourth stand-up DVD/CD at New York Comedy Club, and did Gotham Live. She has had a special on Comedy Central. Performed Nationally and Internationally for Comedy Central. She was listed on Oxygen’s TV Special “Fifty of the Funniest women alive.” She has had 23 TV appearances, and performed at The Montreal Comedy Festival four times She has opened for Bill Maher, Richard Pryor, Chris Rock, Jim Norton, amongst others. Vanessa has worked with Jerry Seinfeld, Dane Cook, George Carlin and Ray Romano, and recently Brad Garrett.

Chris Turner Standup Showcase - 3:30P-5:00P

Chris Turner, the award-winning comedian and improviser, who has racked up over 40 million views on YouTube and became the first British comedian to perform on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and receive a standing ovation, began a Las Vegas residency for Cirque Du Soleil’s “Mad Apple”, the first Cirque show to feature stand-up comedy in 2022.

Devon Walker HEADLINER SHOW #1 - 5:30P - 7:00P

Devon Walker is a  stand-up comedian, actor, and writer. In 2022, he joined the cast of NBC’s sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live as a featured player for the show’s 48th season. Devon gained early support from Comedy Central. In 2017, he was chosen for their Up Next showcase, and in 2019, he had his own special on Comedy Central Stand-Up Featuring.He has created and appeared in a number of the network’s digital shorts. Walker was a writer for the animated Netflix comedy Big Mouth and the 2022 Freeform comedy series Everything’s Trash.

Matt Richards Host - Headliner Show #1

Matt Richards, a versatile talent in the entertainment industry, has left his mark as an actor, host, comedian, and writer. He currently hosts the popular game show app HQ Trivia and has appeared on various television series such as Showtime’s Flatbush Misdemeanors, HBOMax’s That Damn Michael Che, CBS’ 2 Broke Girls, Nickelodeon’s School of Rock, Disney’s KC Undercover, and Bizaardvark. Matt’s comedic prowess earned him recognition as a NEW FACE Character at the 2018 Just For Laughs Festival and a standout performer in the 2017 CBS Diversity Showcase. He’s also made significant contributions as a writer, with credits on series like That Damn Michael Che and various programming for Snoop Dogg on VH1, TBS, Peacock, and Animal Planet. Additionally, Matt has showcased his comedic talents on platforms like Complex’s web-series Group Therapy sponsored by Old Spice, and has appeared on The Funny Dance Show for E!, MTV’s World Star TV, and The Steve Harvey Show. Audiences can anticipate seeing Matt in the upcoming Comedy Central Studios feature film for Paramount, RUN FOR THE MONEY, alongside Beck Bennett and Joel McHale, slated for release later this year.

Sabrina Wu Headliner Show #1 Performer

Sabrina Wu is a New York based actor, comedian, and writer. They most recently starred as “Deadeye” in the Lionsgate film JOY RIDE, from executive producers Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg and director Adele Lim. _The Wrap _called Wu “the funniest member of the central quad” with “endlessly earnest,… delicate introspection.” The R-rated comedy debuted in theaters with a 91% score on Rotten Tomatoes. They have also wrapped shooting as one of the leads in Lauren Ludwig’s pilot SUCKHOLE at FX.

Shalewa is a Brooklyn-based comedian. She developed her sly yet goofy style in Atlanta, where she was raised. She has appeared on HBO’s “2 Dope Queens” and Comedy Central’s “The New Negroes.” She was named one of Vulture’s Comics To Watch.

Jay Whittaker Headliner Show #2 Performer

Jay Whittaker is a comedian, actor, podcaster hailing from Los Angeles, Salt Lake City & Boston! He was recently one of the featured comedians on the Dry Bar Comedy Live tour, which was in over 70 comedy clubs nationwide and received millions of views on Youtube.
