NYLaughs is excited to be back this summer with its highly anticipated series of free comedy performances, offering New Yorkers a much-needed laughter intervention! NYLaughs is thrilled to join forces with Lincoln Center for it’s summer programming for our fourth year, a celebration of collaboration and giving back to the community. Our calendar has expanded to 8 nights. Now New Yorkers have a place to laugh every Wednesday at 8pm. Best of all, admission to all shows is free!

Keith Robinson Co-Headliner
Keith Robinson is a comic’s comic known for his straightforward humor. He’s been a regular on Comedy Central’s “Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn” and co-hosted “The Wanda Sykes Show” on Fox. His first hour special, 2014’s “Kevin Hart Presents: Back of the Bus Funny,” is still a hit on Amazon Prime, Peacock, and Tubi. Keith’s film credits include “Trainwreck” and “King of Staten Island.” Despite facing two strokes and a tough bout with COVID, Keith bounced back to deliver his most personal work yet in “Different Strokes,” his upcoming hour special set to be released by Netflix in 2024.
Steve Way Co-Headliner
Steve Way is an American actor and comedian. He is best known for his recurring role as Steve, a friend of the lead character Ramy Hassan on the Hulu series “Ramy.” Way was born with muscular dystrophy, and is an advocate for disability rights, disability awareness and universal health care and for actors with disabilities in Hollywood. Steve performs stand up in the NJ/NY area, motivational speeches around the country, and is the co-creator and star of the web series Uplifting Dystrophy. He has performed at the 2011 Bamboozle music festival and was the co-host of The Lockdown, a monthly stand up show at the People’s Improv Theatre in New York City. Since the early age of 10, Steve has been public speaking, most notably with the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Tina Friml Host
Having merged into standup comedy following an upbringing in local theater and a decade as a songwriter, she was named a 2019 JUST FOR LAUGHS New Face and has appeared on THE DREW BARRYMORE SHOW’S ‘Bananamores’, Tina appeared in 2019’s NEW YORK COMEDY FESTIVAL, 2019’s LIMESTONE COMEDY FESTIVAL, and the NBC Comedy Spotlight Series as part of 2018’s WOMEN IN COMEDY FESTIVAL. She is the 2018 winner of VERMONT’S FUNNIEST COMEDIAN at Vermont Comedy Club. She has opened for national acts such as Bobcat Goldthwait, Hari Kondabolu, Kurt Braunohler, Sean Patton, and Michelle Buteau. She was listed as one of Seven Days’ most influential female comics in Vermont in 2017.
Maysoon Zayid
Maysoon Zayid is a Palestinian-American comedian, actress, and disability advocate. She gained widespread recognition for her stand-up comedy, appearing on various platforms, including TED Talks. Zayid is not only celebrated for her humor but also for her advocacy work, promoting inclusivity and representation for individuals with disabilities in the entertainment world. Zayid co-founded the New York Arab-American Comedy Festival and The Muslim Funny Fest. She was a full-time On Air Contributor to Countdown with Keith Olbermann and a columnist for The Daily Beast. She has appeared on 60 Minutes, CNN, ABC News, and Oprah Winfrey Networks. Maysoon had the most viewed TED Talk of 2014 and is a Princeton Fellow. As a professional comedian, Maysoon has sold out top New York clubs and has toured extensively at home and abroad. She was a headliner on the Arabs Gone Wild Comedy Tour and The Together Live Tour. Maysoon appeared alongside Adam Sandler in You Don’t Mess With the Zohan and has written for Glamour magazine. She limped in New York Fashion Week and was a recurring character on General Hospital. Zayid has faced all kinds of obstacles since birth. That’s when the doctor who delivered her, later found to be drunk, caused her to lose oxygen, resulting in her cerebral palsy.
