NYLaughs is back this summer with its highly anticipated series of free comedy performances, offering New Yorkers a much-needed laughter intervention and the opportunity to discover their own emotional support pigeons at our exciting signature Laughter in the Park pop-up events! NYLaughs is thrilled to join forces with Lincoln Center for the “Summer For The City” programming, a celebration of collaboration and giving back to the community. Best of all, admission to all shows is free!

Chris Sullivan aka “Shockwave” Headliner
Chris “Shockwave” Sullivan, a regular cast member on the American children’s public television show “The Electric Company” as Shock and best known for his beatboxing for the Broadway show “Freestyle Love Supreme,” is now half of the performing duo “Dick Patrol,” which is a fully improvised hybrid of storytelling, hip-hop, beatboxing, rapping, and improv.
Victor Varnado Headliner
Victor Varnado, an accomplished American stand-up comedian and actor who was the winner of the Most Valuable Performer award at the Montreal Just For Laughs Improv Championship and bronze medalist in the Comedy Central Laugh Riots National Stand-Up Competition is also half of the performing duo “Dick Patrol,” which is a fully improvised, hybrid of storytelling, hip-hop, beatboxing, rapping and improv.
Nonye Brown-West Comedian
Nonye Brown-West has been featured in the Boston Globe’s Rise column as a Comic to Watch, as well as on NPR, PBS, ABC, Sway In The Morning, and in the New York Comedy Festival.
Marcia Belsky Comedian
Marcia Belsky is a New York City-based stand-up comedian, musician and writer whose hit song “100 Tampons” has over 1 million shares on TikTok.
Isabel Hagen Comedian
Isabel Hagen rose to fame due to both her work as a comedian and a Juillard-trained violist. As a violist, Hagen has performed for many Broadway shows such as “Les Miserables” as well as toured with artists such as Bjork. After earning her masters degree at Juilliard, Hagen began to practice stand up comedy. Through her comedy, she has been featured on” The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” and a New Face of Comedy at the “Just for Laughs” festival. Today she performs in a solo show at Union Hall where both her comedy and music skills are featured.
Simeon Goodson Host
Simeon “Sim” Goodson is a New Yorker born and raised from Brooklyn, NY. Beginning his career in New York City in 2004, he has since relocated numerous times around the world, performing and producing in a variety of countries and venues. These include Caroline’s on Broadway in Times Square, The Burj Khalifa in Dubai, and the Brooklyn Academy of Music. In addition, he has performed across the United States with the “Comedy’s Best Kept Secret Tour” and as the opening act on the Hannibal Burress “Comedy Camisado Tour”. In August 2015, Simeon moved with his family to the United Arab Emirates. Diving head first into the local comedy scene, he was the winner of the Dubai Comedy Festival’s Beat the Gong contest that year and in 2017 filmed for Comedy Central Arabia’s Stand Up al Wagif Seasons 2 & 3. In 2018, Simeon moved to Wuxi, China where he continued to perform on an international level, visiting numerous Chinese cities including Shanghai, Beijing, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Shenzhen, Xiamen and Wuhan. Returning to New York City in 2021, Simeon was featured on That Damn Michael Che Season 2 (HBO Max) and is currently a regular host and performer at The Comedy Cellar.
Lagoona Bloo Comedian
NYC-based drag artist and musician whose music has been streamed over one million times on Spotify, Lagoona Bloo is a Latina originally from Prairieville, Louisiana who has hosted one-woman shows all over NYC, showcasing incredible live vocals, celebrity impressions, and comedic stories from childhood and she has appeared on multiple television shows including The Voice, America’s Got Talent and Neftlix’s Emmy Award-winning reality competition show, Nailed It! hosted by comedian Nicole Byer. Lagoona’s hilarious antics helped her team win the episode!
